Jay was particularly outraged at the way that children were being housed. This was an interview done in 2008. Conditions have only gotten worse.

I interviewed him for my online radio program, Sister Space in 2007 a year after he became aware of a "wall" that was being proposed.
I did many interviews with Jay over the next years. Many times he said to me, "Where are the women?" "Why are the mothers not taking action on this atrocity of imprisoning children?"
His heart was so heavy with what he saw.
