Why?I had to manufacture a reason to get out of bed in the morning. My mind spun in hopelessness. The small glimpses I had of life challenges were overwhelming. I could deeply understand why men would want to keep women's anger quelled. Or that "white" citizens would discount or turn away from our "black" citizen's pain. The sense of hopelessness, powerlessness, and overwhelm was taking me down. What could I do in the face of such immense, complex problems?
Because since 1971 I have had the privilege of walking daily with Beings in the worlds of the unseen, I have often asked myself the question, "How do people go through the ups and downs of their lives without the insight and assistance that come from those unseen friends?" Well, this busy, productive, deadline-filled week gave me a glimpse of what days without a Spiritual Hand is like. I do not want to repeat the week! Whatever it takes; 5 minutes every morning, 10 minutes periodically throughout the day, breaks to walk in the woods, breath in the trees, or sitting on the beach as the waves roll over the earth, I will do it. The layers of overwhelm, aloneness, confusion, and bleakness were the price i paid in forgetting to weave the Seen and Unseen worlds together last week. I applaud you for making a commitment to connect with Guidance beyond the 'muck' that exists in our country and world. Why would you want to? BECAUSE YOU WANT YOUR WORLD TO SHIFT!
